Welcome to Center Brunswick Fire Company

The Volunteer Fire Company of Center Brunswick is one of five fire departments serving the Town of Brunswick.  The Town of Brunswick is located in upstate NY, Rensselaer County.  Our fire district is comprised of rural character with a heavily traveled state highway.

It is our mission to provide a comprehensive emergency service designed to enhance our community through fire prevention, public education, and emergency response.  The members of the fire company are dedicated to protecting life, property, and the environment.



BUS TRIP TO YANKEE STADIUM

The Center Brunswick Fire Company is planning a family trip to see the NY Yankees VS The Cincinnati Reds. Game time is 1:05 pm. The bus leaves the fire house at 7:30 am sharp. The price is $75.00 / per ticket which includes coach transportation and ticket to game. There is no alcohol allowed on the bus and tickets are not refundable. CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY SEAT CHECK

The Center Brunswick Fire Company will be hosting a Child Passenger Safety Seat Check conducted by the New York State Police on Saturday May 5, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.  Appointments are required.  Contact New York State Police Loudonville Traffic Section at (518) 783-3259 to schedule an appointment.

67TH ANNUAL INSTALLATION BANQUET

On Saturday January 28th,2012 the Center Brunswick Fire Company held there 67th Installation Banquet where the officers for 2012 were sworn in by the Honorable Robert Schmidt Brunswick Town Justice.


 
   
   
Eagle scout project

The Volunteer fire Company of Center Brunswick would like to thank the boy scout  troop 537 for the job they did on construction of a path way and new sign supports.. this was a eagle scout project that was headed up by Robert Strang of troop 537 it took approximately 3 weeks to complete it consisted of  a side walk and sign supports also running of electrical conduit line for the sign and light for the flag pole


 
   
   
Hurricane IRENE

On Aug 28th the Center Brunswick Fire Company was put on stand by for multiple calls for water problems, wires down, road washouts, trees down, and to assist other fire departments.  We responded to a total of 37 calls during the time Hurricane Irene was in the area.

On July 7th the Center Brunswick Fire Company was requested to set up a helicopter landing zone for Raymertown fire CAR 1,3, 7-1,U-7 were on scene.

On June 19th  the Center Brunswick Fire Company was dipatched for a 2 car mva. Cars 1,2, and R-7 were on scene.

On May 25th at approx 06:15 am the Centerbrunswick fire company was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident on arrival of car 3 found 1 car in a tree and a box truck rolled over. car 1, R-7, 7-7 were on scene also


 
   
   
POLE FIRE

On May16th the Center Brunswick Fire Company and Eagle Mills Fire Company were dispatch to a reported pole fire. On arrival units found the pole burning.  Rt 2 had to be shut down due to the extent on damage to the pole.


 
   
   
Kitchen Fire
Tuesday, April 12, 2011

On April 12, 2011 Center Brunswick was dispatched for a possible structure fire.  Upon arrival the homeowners advised that they had a kitchen stove fire and they had used a fire extinguisher.  The stove was removed from the residence and checks for extension were completed.  Minor damage to the kitchen wall and ceiling.
